The successor to Viva Magenta 18-1750, this subtle tint lies between pink and orange. Chosen by a panel of 40 experts from a variety of professions, Pantone’s colour of the year is intended to reflect “everything that’s happening in our culture over the course of the year”. These influences can come from technological advances, innovative materials, captivating textures, social media trends and even global sporting events, as Laurie Pressman, vice-president of the Pantone Color Institute, explains.
In terms of combinations, Peach Fuzz goes perfectly with natural materials such as wood and rock. It also blends elegantly with tones such as powder pink and gold, as well as pastel green and denim blue.
